As part two of the Georgetown County, SC Chamber of Commerce’s Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Overtime discussion, Tom Winslow of Goldfinch Winslow Attorneys and Counselors at Law, will present helpful information about the legal ramifications of the new law.
Recently, the U.S. Department of Labor released its final regulations related to the Fair Labor Standards Act. These regulations take effect on December 1, 2016 and will significantly affect which employees are eligible for overtime.
The focus of this discussion is to provide are business owners with information and tools to plan for – and execute – the new FLSA Overtime rule, from a legal perspective.
The event will be held on October 18th, 2016, 8:30am to 10:00am, at the Bunnelle Conference Center in Pawleys Island. The talk is free to members of the Georgetown Chamber, and just $10 for non-members to attend.
